Walk to END PKD

The Walk to END PKD signifies a united group, moving towards treatment and a cure for polycystic kidney disease (PKD), one of the most common life-threatening genetic diseases affecting thousands in Canada. You can have an impact on all those affected by this disease by joining one of our walks or by creating a personal fundraising page where you can join others in the fight to end PKD through interactive message boards and photos.

Thank you for your continued support for the Walk to END PKD! Because of you, we have raised over $1,365,000 since 2007.

Why Walk?

The Walk to END PKD is the PKD Foundation of Canada’s signature fundraising event, and has raised over $1,365,000 since 2007. Each year, the walk helps the PKD Foundation of Canada move closer to its goal of finding more treatments and a cure for those living with PKD. The funds raised also help provide education, support and services both online and offline in local communities for those affected by PKD.

We've made great strides but need your help in keeping the momentum going. By recruiting more participants and volunteers and engaging the community to walk with us, we can help bring our goal to life: that everyone affected by PKD can find support and care within their communities and ultimately, find a cure for PKD.

Donate today and help us end PKD!

If you are unable to walk this year, there is still much you can do! You can volunteer at a walk event, help raise funds for the Walk to END PKD by setting up a personal fundraising page, or help promote awareness and education by sharing pamphlets about PKD in your community.  Send us an email to find our more information about how you can help!
