PKD Health Notes with Renal Dietician, Kelly Welsh: Spring = A Chance to Power Pack Our Daily Diets

“As we finally start seeing the weather get a bit nicer, we can also start  thinking of more variety in the fruit and veggies department. Spring  means brighter colours outside and also brighter, more vibrant choices  in the produce section. Produce looks better, fresher, and we tend to  have more choices. If we choose the right ones, we can even pack more  nutrients into our kidney diets.

Revisit this topical PKD Health Notes blog from Kelly, as she helps us  with some dietary Spring cleaning! Read the full post here.

“I decided if I was a match, in a heartbeat I would donate with no questions  asked.” Paul tells  PEOPLE. “It was one of the happiest moments of my life  – there are so many people out there  that suffer and wait for a transplant,  and they suffer the entire time they are waiting.”
