Topic: Optimizing Kidney Function and the Effects of Vitamin D

Dr. Sameena Iqbal will discuss various ways one can maintain proper kidney function and nutritional habits while also stressing the importance of staying hydrated. She will focus on how failing kidneys can affect one's vitamin D levels. Following the presentation, Dr. Iqbal will take the time to answer your questions related to kidney function, PKD and renal failure. Gene's Big Dumb Kidneys - A Campaign to Raise Awareness and His Search for a Kidney

With help from his family and friends, US resident Gene Okun introduced Big Dumb Kidneys to inspire people to learn more about PKD and kidney donation. Check out his light-hearted video about living with PKD below or read his interview with the PKD Foundation (USA), here.
