Living Kidney Donation | Webinar Video

webinar_MM_social_thumb.pngThis webinar was held live on June 11, 2024.

Because polycystic kidney disease (PKD) can eventually lead to kidney failure, many of those affected by PKD are interested in learning about kidney transplantation as a possible life-extending treatment for PKD.

In this webinar on the topic of living kidney donation, experts answered a number of questions about the living kidney donation process, such as:

  • What are the rules regarding living kidney donors?
  • What is the testing process like, to determine my compatibility to become a living kidney donor?
  • Can I get a living kidney donor from outside of Canada?
