Healing Through Compassion | Mental Health Week 2024

Compassion is the strong emotion that moves us to take action to reduce suffering. Compelling scientific evidence suggests that giving compassion, receiving compassion, and allowing ourselves to experience self-compassion are all very beneficial to our mental health - easing depression, promoting feel-good hormones, reducing symptoms, and increasing happiness.

May 6 to 12 is #MentalHealthWeek2024. The theme this year is "Healing Through Compassion." Find resources and tools to practice compassion, developed by the Canadian Mental Health Association, below. For more information, visit MentalHealthWeek.ca
