Having PKD can feel like a long stretch of uncertainty. You may not be in crisis, but things are changing - and it’s not always easy to know what to expect, or how to plan for what’s ahead.
When you’re managing day-to-day life, watching your numbers, and trying to make decisions that protect your future, it can feel isolating. That’s where PKD Mind Matters Chats come in.
Hosted by the PKD Foundation of Canada, these small, one-hour evening sessions are a chance to connect with others who are in a similar place. No slides, no formal presentations, and nothing recorded - just real conversation, shaped by what matters most to the people in the room.
Whether you’re in early or middle-stage of PKD, or supporting someone who is, this space is for you. We gather to share experiences, compare notes, and talk through the practical and emotional sides of living with PKD.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. Just showing up is enough.
Why join? Because hearing from others who are navigating similar questions can make things feel more manageable. You might leave with a new perspective - or simply the relief of knowing you’re not the only one thinking about these things.
If you’ve been looking for connection, clarity, or a space where you don’t have to explain the basics, we hope you’ll join us.
These chats are open to patients, caregivers, friends, and family. All are welcome.
So grab a tea, find a comfortable spot, and come as you are. We’ll be here.
