As a grassroots non-profit organization, the PKD Foundation of Canada prides itself in keeping administration costs low and impact high. In order to do this, we count on volunteers every day to help drive vital programs and awareness around Canada.

Meet Your Chapter Coordinator

Meet Gina Hedges

Gina is the Ottawa Chapter Coordinator. When Gina's mother was diagnosed with PKD 24 years ago, Gina and her sister both decided to go through the screening process to become living organ donors. That's when they were both diagnosed with PKD.

In honour of her mother and family members affected, Gina fights tirelessly to advocate for the local PKD community.

Meet Your Walk Coordinator

Meet Jennifer Woods

Jenn is the Ottawa Chapter's Walk Coordinator. Jennifer, her mother and her sister are all affected by PKD. Their prognosis is eventual dialysis and transplantation.

Jenn is committed to spreading awareness and helping to find a cure for PKD.
