March 9th is World Kidney Day!
World Kidney Day aims to raise awareness of the importance of our kidneys to our overall health and to reduce the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems worldwide.
This year’s theme for World Kidney Day is ‘Health for All – Preparing for the unexpected, supporting the vulnerable.’ Visit worldkidneyday.org to learn more!
3 Ways to Get Involved This Kidney Day
Learn- Get accurate and clear information about polycystic kidney disease and read answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about an ADPKD or ARPKD diagnosis. In honor of March’s National Kidney Month, we are taking on daily challenges to raise awareness of PKD. Let others know about PKD and join the fight to end it by participating in 31 Days of PKD Challenges!
Volunteer- The PKD Foundation of Canada chapters and the volunteers who lead them are the backbone of the PKD community, driving vital programs around the world. Connect with your local chapter to stay up to date on events within your community and for opportunities to support the PKD Foundation of Canada on a local level.
